I have loved this painting ever since I was a little girl. My Mum and Dad used to take me to the Art gallery in Glasgow where they have the original. I still have a little print which my Dad bought me. I am now 38 with a litle girl of my own. I have put the print in her room and hope she grows up with lovely memories of it as I have.

Mary Cassatt was a great artist: she created a style of her own, although she admired Degas´s approach to painting and the Japanese prints. She is unique!

I love this painting. It reminds me of my twin daughters when they were younger. They are 14 now, but I still see the little girls they use to be. This painting truly looks like both of them!
